Out of area listings

    Hello
    I am hoping that any of the followers of this thread could give me some advice. I have a directory for the small community that I live in. All the local merchants are displayed on the map nicely. My challenge is that there are a handful of businesses that specialize in my community but their offices are out of the area and would distort the map. Any cool ideas on how to list them but not have the fact that they are out of the area mess up the map?

    You could add a CPT that does not require addresses, for example “Out of Town” CPT?
    Or set the homepage to show the default location only using the Advanced Search addon?
