Hi… I just purchased Geo Directory and have installed the add-ons we need for our client. The problem is now whenever we view a listing, we get a 404 page. I have disable all plugins except the Geo Directory plugin and I still have the issue.

We also can’t seem to get this to work with the Divi theme. Even when we use the theme compatibility settings. Can you tell me what might be causing these issues?

    Hi Jeff,

having a category is a requirement, neither of your listings have a category assigned which is most likely the problem for the 404 page. We do also have a dummy data installer under GD>General>Dummy Data.

For theme compatibility can you list links with problems you see and i’ll have a look.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

    Hi Jeff,

I’ve just checked your Website and it looks like you’ve setup everything correctly. You just need to assign a category to the listings to fix the error 404 page. It’s compulsory for GD to work and here is the section of the documentation for your reference https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/guide-to-setting-up-your-geodirectory-website/#listing

    Thanks!

Thank you!! That solved one problem.

Now the only issue is the compatibility with Divi. If I load the Divi everything is still kind of messed up with the look and layout of the pages. The pages lose there full width footer and the content loads up into the menu area.

Hi Jeff, i have made some basic changes for now so you can carry on testing, once you have it on a proper domain i can do the rest.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

    Hi,
is it possible for you to share the divi compatibility settings. I have just started building a site an I am seeing the same issue with Extra by elegant themes which uses the Divi page builder and components. As such I am seeing the issue with the full width footer not being full width.

    Thanks In Advance.

@mrostron – please create a new thread for your specific topic. Thanks!

(Divi is ‘built in’ by default and you don’t need compatibility options, and should remove them if you have already set them. Some updates are expected with each plugin version, so, stay up to date.)
