blog sidebar missing

I created a new page and named it blog and set it to display blog posts which it does however I cannot figure out how to display a sidebar on the blog page nor the blog post page. How canI do this?

Hi Joshua,

Looks like a cache issue. Just resave it the option and it seems to appear now. Could you please check?

The Supreme theme does not have a sidebar on the blog page, sorry.

Ok. So if i wanted to add a sidebar would I first have to create a child theme and then modify the template for blog posts?
