Hi there,

My listings page – upliftparts.com/listings/post-a-listing is no longer the standard page users would use to add a listing. Can you please try and explain why this would have changed and how to reimplement the add listing page.

Hello!

GD Pages should not have a parent page.

I am not aware of any changes to GD that would have changed your page.

You can always create a new page for the Add Listing page and then set that page in your

GD > Permalinks > Add Listing

Alex,

Thank you for your response. What I am concerned about is that I might have deleted something by mistake somehow. I can’t seem to recreate the form that was on the add listing page and set it to generate a listing on the website. I can insert a form but when the form is submitted it isn’t linked to anything so it doesn’t generate a new listing or lead to the listing success page.

Hi,

the only reason would be that you selected a page as add listing page in GD permalinks and the link to add listing will be directed to that page.

Instead if you want to use a custom page with the shortcode, you need to use a custom link to send users to that page.

If that’s not the problem, please provide a link and admin credentials in a private reply and we will have a look.
