Supreme Directory not uploading

I am trying to upload the Supreme Directory on my site and I get an error message:

Unpacking the package…

Installing the plugin…

The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.

Plugin installation failed.

Try uploading the Supreme theme as a theme instead of a plugin. Thanks

Hi Miriam,

Please also keep in mind that you need to install the Directory Starter Theme first then only Supreme Directory Child Theme . https://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Themes#Adding_New_Themes

Thanks for your assistance! I have a different theme installed since the directory is only a feature on my website not the entire site. I actually tried installing directory starter and I get the same error message that no valid plugin was found and download failed. I appreciate your prompt response.

Hi Miriam,

You cannot use more than one theme. You either choose Directory Starter with Supreme Directory or your current theme. If you still need help, kindly share WP admin access in private reply and we’ll help install it for you

Hi Miriam,

If you wish to only use the directory, you can just install the GD plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/geodirectory/ and you can use it together with your current theme.
