Event Listings Widget By Location

    I am using the event listings widget on a page outside of the default pages of geodirectory: http://www.staging.classicalcitizens.com/classical-citizens-irvine-violin-teachers-events-music-lessons/

    so the “Enable Location Filter” doesn’t do anything. I assume because it isn’t picking up a location.

    How can I show the listing of events by location (city) using the widget or creating something manually?

    That is only possible on a GD page, WP pages do not pick up the location like you say. Thanks

    Is there a way to make a regular WP page a GD page also so “Enable Location Filter” works on all pages?

    At the moment there is no easy way to do this.

    Is there a hard way? I need the location filter to work on the whole site not just geodirectory pages. That seems like a massive problem to have this plugin and expensive extensions to only work within the box of the plugin pages.

    The hard way would be to hire a developer to add it..

    We don’t want to show different data on the same page depending on location selected, as i stated before we did this in the past and it causes problems with caching, we won’t do it again.

    If you are looking to show ONE location info on the one page then that is something we likely will introduce in GDv2 (but not dynamic depending on location on non GD pages)
