    I can’t find any reference to this problem. Is it a known issue with a fix?

    Can you give more details please. When and where do you get that error?

    Thanks Guust. I don’t want to give you admin access as it’s not my site, but here’s what’s happening:

    I attempted to edit a GD php file (geodirectory/geodirectory_template_actions.php) in the WP plugin editor. The entire file content disappeared on page reload. I ran ‘Health Check’ on the plugins and GD was the only one that came back with a loopback request failure. I would just ftp a new file but the site is hosted somewhere on Amazon Web Services (not my choice) and I have no clue how to set up ftp access. I will be moving the site to SiteGround asap but as the directory is down, I am trying everything to get a fix in.

    I appreciate any help.

    Hello,

    I will flag this for the developers in case they have an idea. Would recommend setting up file access, though, in the meantime.

    I have not heard of this, my guess is there is a JS error on the page when loading the editor which causes it to blank the page and if u save then it saves a blank page.

    If you have access to the backend you can simply delete GD plugin and then reinstall it, that should correct the file.

    Hi Stiofan. If I delete and re-install the entire Geodir plugin, will it not also delete the places i’ve set up? How about my settings?
