Home Page Styling

Hi there,

I was wondering whether it is possible for me to make a homepage similar to the enclosed example, using the GDF Modern Theme. The main features I’m referring to:

– A picture instead of the Google map
– A search bar in the middle of the picture
– Logo only on the left side, other navigation menu options on the right side of the page. I’m especially interested in having my visitor login on the right upper side of the homepage.

I think it is really a noob question, but okay..

I’m having an issue whereby it seems as if there is another page sitting on top of (or before) my home page. See the second enclosed picture. So the page opens with a lot of white space, feels like an admin page to me.
