Error during install of theme

    When attempting to install the theme I get the following error:

    “The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.”

    I attempted to fix this by unpacking the zip file and copying the style sheet file and pasting it into the zip file in the main geo directory folder which resulted in this error:

    “The package could not be installed. The style.css stylesheet doesn’t contain a valid theme header.”

    Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    Geodirectory 1.6.25
    Just to be clear I don’t ever get to the point where i can choose the wordpress theme to activate. The problems occur during installation. Thanks

    Geodirectory is a plugin, not a theme. Try installing it as a plugin.

    Thanks, that sorted it. I used to use geotheme which was in fact a theme. Didnt occur to me that the newest version was a plugin. Part of the reason I wanted to go with GD is the responsiveness of the developers to issues. Thanks again, you did not disappoint!
