map not working

I updated the default location to a Canadian city and now no map shows, and the “Set Address On Map” button does nothing, and a box says, “No Records Found.” I added a listing to be certain that the map would have a location to show, but this did not help. I created an API key using your API creating link and have specified that in the correct Design | Map section. Now no matter what city I enter, I cannot get a map. Is there any way to return to the default where the map shows? I have deactivated and deleted the plugin several times with the uninstall data box checked, but I cannot seem to get this to work.
