I’m curious, I noticed that featured images appear in the “media” section of the backend/WP Dashboard area. But, none of the other images don’t appear there. So, where are images stored? And, what happens when they are deleted from the front end, are they completely deleted?

I’d like to keep things tighty as much as I can. So, do I need to flush deleted images ever?

    Hi Jeff,

Thanks for your post. All images added on the frontend will be kept in the WP Media Library and will be deleted once removed from your listing.

    Thanks!

weird, I’m not seeing them there. see attached image, it’s showing only the first image of which is the featured image. And, if you go to the most recent listing related to that image you’ll see there’s about 14 more images that are not in the WP media library as far as I can tell. Like these here: https://veganlinked.com/food/united-states/north-carolina/hendersonville/sanctuary-brewing-company/

    Hi Jeff,

Thanks for your reply and I’m sorry for my mistake. Only the featured image of the listing will be stored in the WP media library.

    Thanks!

Thanks, I was having some quirky things going on, it may have been that Godaddy Cache crap though or my needing to clear my history, so it made me curious… all is good, i’m really looking forward to migrating over to a cloud VPS with JaguarPC per your request. They seem awesome and they claim not to use cache. After I migrate over do you think I should hold off on using GD Booster for a bit until I’ve Populated the site some more? Do you use that? Is it pretty nice and good to use? And, I’m even more curious how much faster my site will be after this migration and how consistent it will be faster. Let me know your thoughts, I’m super excited and looking forward to taking this to the next level!

Kor, I’M DONE! I am fully migrated over to jaguarpc and my site is screaming fast now! I’m soooo stoked! I am super duper happy! It took me all night though. There was several hiccups along the way. I’ve only slept 2 and a half hours, but now I can go back to sleep with a big screaming server smile on my face! 🙂 Thanks so much man!
