Split: Custom Post Type & Import .csv

    Hello

    We are trying to create a golf directory, I have downloaded the sample csv changed the names to golf courses addresses etc and no matter what I try keep getting the error not a valid csv file.

    I even downloaded the sample csv and tried to upload it without any changes and still not working.

    Using open office calc to save the file with correct deliminators, custom post type is in wp admin for gd_places. post tag used is listed in post tags, and have followed the instructions here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-general/#csv

    Still not working, can you please help, thanks

    Hi,

    the 1st thing wrong that I notice is the post_type. You have gd_places while it should be gd_place.

    I’ve tried importing the csv file after correcting this on one of my test website and it worked at 1st attempt.

    Please remember to always open your own topics, especially if you want to use the private reply option, because if you leave a private reply in someone else’s topic, the author of that topic will also be able to read your private message.
