I am not sure if this is possible with GeoDir but here is what I am trying to do.

I am using Themify Builder and Themify Ultra theme, which allows for menu links to navigate to module anchors (hope this makes sence). IE if you visit
    http://valleyfaces.ca/
and click DOWNLOADS, it will take you to
    http://valleyfaces.ca/#Downloads
and simply scroll down to that section of the same page.

This however is a problem when that same menu item is clicked from within a location page, places page etc.

Typically with this theme I can simply make a second menu and set a “Custom Menu” for the page in question. Because the Places, Search results, and Details pages aren’t actual WP pages I am unable to set a “Custom Menu” like I am with normal pages.

I am wondering if there is any way to tell GeoDir to use my custom menu.

    Thanks!

If you use URLs in your menu like http://valleyfaces.ca/#Downloads instead of #Downloads then they will work on any page.

    Thanks

Yes they will however any time someone clicks a menu link on the homepage it will reload the page before taking them to the module which I am sure you can understand is just bad UX.

Is there a way to use custom menus or not?

That reads rude, not my intention.

Your suggestion was exactly my initial work around plan but it does make our landing page clunky.

    Thanks again

Hold the phone. I went with your suggestion and in testing it seems to work better than I had though.

Feel free to close this thread, problem solved!!!
