Buddypress CPT tabs

(sorry for my English, i’m not a native..)

1/ Is there a way to make the custom post types tabs in buddypress to look like only the icon of the CPT (with a defined appropriated size of the image chosen) and, if possible, the number of the listings below the icon and without seeing the name of the CPT instead of the names of the CPT currently used ?

2/ GD advanced search, is there a way to make the Categories drop down selection tab a MULTI select (like it is possible in the Add Listing forms), because now in the search form the only way is to show with box to check to allow a multi selection of search but when you have lots of categories…
