    Hello, I just installed GD and am wondering if there is an option to display the user name of the listing creator on the listing search and details page? As in, you see a listing, and then it says at the bottom “Posted by [bpmember-david]” or the like? I want people to be able to contact/message the original posters of the listing, such as for a job or service.

    Thank you! I have the current version of both WP and GD.

    If you add an email address to the listing, a “Send Enquiry” link will become available in the sidebar.

    To add a link to the author page of the owner of a listing, you can add the Claim Listings addon, see here for an example in the sidebar: https://wpgeo.directory/docs/places/united-states/new-jersey/toms-river/transport/classic-cars/

    Thanks a lot for the quick reply. I’m wondering if maybe if I buy the buddypress integration add-on if this will do the trick? I need the “Posted by” link to lead back to the member’s profile. Would I need to buy both add ons to accomplish this?

    I am trying to make a very simple classifieds section for my community website, so I don’t want the user to have the ability to claim a listing, just post listings and then have it appear under “My listings” or “View member listings,” something like that. I don’t even need reviews or a map, so maybe I could just delete that with CSS?

    Thank you Alex, the theme I’m using (Woffice) actually has all the login/registration form pages included, and BuddyPress is fully loaded as well. Sorry just to clarify, when you said I could do it that way, did you mean that I would need to buy both the Claim Listing and BuddyPress Integration add-ons or will just BuddyPress let me do this? The crucial things I would need is the “Posted by” link on a listing, and for that link to direct to the member’s BP profile, and then a “View Listings from this member” link on their profile page and a “Manage listings” section for the member. Would the BP add-on accomplish all that?

    You can just do it with the Claim Listing addon.
    If you want to also add GD Listings of the user to the BP profile page of the user, then you will need the integration plugin. The integration plugin will also allow for favorites and reviews to be shown on the profile page.
