Integrate newsletter registration in to GD new place form

    Hi,
    I am using “The Newsletter Plugin” and would like to integrate the newsletter registration in to this of the GD “create new place” form, so people could join the newsletter with an extra click.
    “The Newsletter Plugin” actually has a great integration that works only with the regular WordPress reistration, so no luck 🙂

    I know you can’t help with the actual inegration of the 3rd party plugin, but would appreciate the heads up to where in the code could I enter this integration? and how can i do it so it is not overriden when I update GD?

    Hi,

    please ask to the plugin author if they have a php snippet to add their checkbox to other registration forms.

    thank you for your swift reply.
    I know that the plugin author should provide a php snipet, the question is, WHERE do I put it, once I have it? and how do I do it that it is not overriden after an update?

    Snippets can be added via functions.php of your theme or a plugin like the code snippet plugin. These methods are immune to GeoDirectory updates.

    However we need to know how that plugin work, because normally they work if used on the registration form, not on another form like the add listing form.
