Hi, I’ve included the GD Categories GD widget in the Content Section Home Page GD. When I select an item I create (place) the result of the places is not as close to the farthest from the search position. Is it possible to change these settings?
    Thank you.

    Hi Paolo,

Sorry for misunderstanding your question. Could you share your Website URL in question so that we could check on it? Also, list the steps to replicate it and tell us how do you want the search to work.

    Thanks!

The website is in https and the GD search widget works correctly even if sometimes returning to the home page disables geolocation. Another thing that I noticed is that using the widget Near Me redirects me to the page http://www.edomino.it/me. Do I have to set this page as a home page for geolocation to work properly?

    The site is https://www.edomino.it/

I would like the GD Categories sites to be geolocated from the closest to the farthest.

    Hello,

There are two types of search, IN, and NEAR. You can read more about them on this page:

    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/

Please share an example search URL if clarification is needed.

    Good morning,
This is a search url made from the CTP Categories widget.

    https://www.edomino.it/places/sport-e-tempo-libero/

This is url that I would like as a result.

    https://www.edomino.it/?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_place&sgd_placecategory%5B%5D=124&s=+&snear=Vicino+Definito+dall%27utente&sgeo_lat=44.289759&sgeo_lon=11.8844023

Is it possible to do this?

    Thank you.

There is not a setting to switch those URLs, no.

What are the aspects of the second URL that you like, or would like to see changed for the first URL?

I would like to simplify the search method. I would like a more direct method of searching without having to fill in many fields like in GD search widget. Is there a widget or a possible method to simplify?

There are some styling customizations available here. Take a look and use what works for you:

Let us know how it goes

    Hi Paolo,

There is an option in the Widgets as shown in the attached screenshot. Let us know if it helps.
