    Hi,

    I am currently having an issue with the tag and category description being duplicated on the place category and tag listing pages on my website. I am using the Altitude Pro theme on the Genesis Framework.
    Place Tag Listing Page- http://www.adventuremotorcycletravel.com/directory/tags/guided-tours-1/
    Place Category Listing Page – http://www.adventuremotorcycletravel.com/directory/motorcycle-tour-operators/

    I’m also keen to get rid of the massive section of white space that appears between the breadcrumbs and the description.

    Any help you can give me in sorting this out will be most appreciated.

    Hi,

    it appears that the theme is also adding the category description, where it shouldn’t.

    Could you please provide admin credentials.

    Let us know,

    Thanks

    Actually it was a bug on our compatibility code with Genesis, It has been fixed and it will be in the next version.

    If you want to start updating just that part you can find it here:

    https://github.com/GeoDirectory/geodirectory/blob/master/geodirectory-functions/compatibility/Genesis.php

    Replace the entire Genesis.php file.

    Thanks

    Hi Paolo,

    Thanks a lot for that. I have replaced the file and the duplication is gone. I don’t suppose you saw anything that might explain the big area of white space at the top of the “site-inner” dive, just below the breadcrumbs, while you were checking it out?

    Thanks again.

    Hi,

    sorry about that, I totally missed it.

    In your theme css: http://www.adventuremotorcycletravel.com/wp-content/themes/altitude-pro/style.css?ver=1.0.0 line 561 there is this css:

    .secondary-nav .site-inner {
        margin-top: 250px;
    }

    I don’t know why exactly it adds such a large margin and why you have the secondary-nav class in the body of that page, but adding this in GeoDirectory >> design >> script >> custom css should solve it:

    .secondary-nav .site-inner {
        margin-top: 50px;
    }

    Hoping it will not affect any other section of your website. But it shouldn’t.

    Let us know,

    Thx
