When in the CPT “Web Based” on my site in mobile view on a phone or even making the window smaller on a desktop the blue button “Search Listings” does not work. It works for other CPT’s. This particular CPT, Web Based, is one the does not use a location.

I removed the CSS to make sure that wasn’t the problem and search listings still behaves the same. So I put my CSS back.

    Hi Jeff,

The Supreme theme does not support widgets in the listing page right sidebar widget area.

Try moving them to the Listing Page Top Widget area.

This works perfect under the other CPT’s, it’s just the CPT with no location associated.

Right, but the Supreme theme doesn’t support right sidebar widgets and that is probably why it is not working.

Give it a try in the Top section and let us know what you find.

Putting the search widget in the top works great for the no location CPT. But, it looks horrible on the other CPT’s. The attached image shows that it’s there twice when I put it in the GD Listing Top Section. In the widgets area of admin I couldn’t find where the other GD Search is to remove it (reference attached image). I prefer the GD search in the top of the left section (where it is/was originally), not the center of the top section. Even your demo has it this way.

GD Search works great in the sidebar in Desktop view. The only problem is that the search button isn’t working in mobile. Isn’t there a way to make it work in mobile like it does in desktop?

Like I said, I removed the CSS search still did not work correctly. Nothing changed when I removed CSS in regard to “GD Search”. Furthermore, the CSS you referenced was for the map issue.

I mean the custom CSS, of which the link is but one example, is hiding the search from the /web/ page.

The Supreme theme does not support right sidebar widgets on the listings page.

I still don’t know what the CSS is hiding, I don’t know what you’re talking about. I’m only talking about the search button not working on the CPT without a location. I don’t want this broken button there. What do I do? Ideally there would be a search that works there in mobile view. You’re saying this theme doesn’t support right sidebar, but it works in desktop mode. Can you make it work in mobile?

We don’t handle customizations here in the forum. You can contact a GD Expert here if you want to take the Supreme functionality in a different direction: http://geodirectoryexperts.com

I understand you don’t handle customizations typically.

I want the supreme theme and search to look and behave like the demo for all CPT’s even if they don’t have a location. How can I achieve this? Right now it is broken. I don’t need a customization, I need a fix.

Here’s a demonstration of the issue:

If you remove the custom CSS and use the widgets areas as designed it should work as expected.

We are unable to help with customizations.

The expectation was set by the demo. If I do as you suggest and add the search to the top section it is no longer like the demo, it looks horrible, and I still am left with other issues.

I want it to be like the demo for all CPT’s even if they don’t have a location. This is broken and needs to be fixed, this is not a customization. As you can see the search works in the sidebar in desktop just not mobile. But I shouldn’t even have to put it in the sidebar, GD Search is in the top left of all the other CPT’s, why isn’t it for this one?
