    Greetings,

I am new to GD, and trying to learn fast.

With a bit of help from Alex at Support I was able to bulk load nearly 100 places. None of these have “proper” street front addresses (they are locations in rural and parklands) so I just used a dot (period) for the street address, but added the proper city and state values.

    All good.

Now, I want to slightly adjust a couple of the locations: shift the pin on the map.

I get that we are shifting the map underneath the pin, that’s ok. But when I move a certain distance I suddenly get a pop-up that demands:

Please choose any address of the (QLD) region only.

I have to close the dialogue to continue editing the map, and when I do, the map re-centres on the Default Location. Then I have to start positioning the map all over again, dialogue appears, rinse and repeat.

How is editing supposed to be done??

    Thanks!

    Hi John Brisbin,

Thanks for your post. Just wondering, did you install the “Location Manager” addon already? If the issue persists, please share WP admin access in private reply and list the steps to replicate the said issue.

    Thanks!

Take a look at the settings at

GeoDirectory – Multilocation – ADD LISTING FORM SETTINGS

Try checking the option – Disable move map pin from changing address fields

See how that works for you and let us know.

FYI is sounds like you should enable Multiregions and Multicities also, on the same page.

Thanks guys…between the [enable multi regions] and the [disable move map pin] I am back in business and the map/edit logic works as I would have expected.
    Cheers!
