Just built up a new install using latest GDV2 and Genesis with Corporate Pro Theme. Have encountered several issues.
1. Entered an address which hung part way through. I moved to a new page and returned to be given the message that you have a post you started earlier. There were no entry fields being displayed after the address input. I tried to use the ‘click here to remove this revision’ which didn’t work. I had to go into DB and manually remove the part listing. Returning to add a new listing still gave the message and still only showed input fields up to the address section.
2. When you visit the location page you are provided with the categories you have and the number of listings within that category. Selecting one of these categories to view the listings shows an empty Archive page and not the listings of the category.
3. On stepping through the installation using the wizard the error message shown in the attached image was produced.
4. When setting up custom fields I have been using the fieldset section separator. Works fantastically until you revisit one that you have created and make an alteration to it. After saving your alterations the separator doesn’t show on the add listing page. To get it to show I have had to move the seperator to the bottom of the fields, save it, then move it back to its correct position. It then shows up as normal with alterations complete.
Other than that V2 is just wonderful, love it! and can’t wait for the add ons to follow. You guys have certainly put some great work into this.

I will address your points briefly and ask for a reply so we can attempt to recreate the issues you have identified. We are testing using the Primer theme.
1. Could you please share the address you used?
Are you using an API key that is completely functional with billing info etc?
The screenshot error is what we have seen recently when the Google API key is not setup correctly/completely.August 15, 2018 at 11:19 am #442466This reply has been marked as private.August 15, 2018 at 2:02 pm #4424961. OK, yes, geocoding with Google will fail and will get a “Request Denied” error if the key is not setup completely. The error may be “Request Denied” or something else, they seem to be changing the error messages and links each week.
3. This error is also explained by the API key setup. Incomplete API key means geocoding for dummy data will also be met with a request denied error.
2. I was not able to recreate this. When I clicked through a category on the location page I was able to see listings. It could be that your default location was completely blank. How did you set your default location, eventually. With OSM?
August 15, 2018 at 2:44 pm #4425004. I tried to recreate this but could not. If you run across it again and found a way to recreate please do repost and let us know.
Please write back with the URL of the site so I can check out #2 above.
August 15, 2018 at 3:08 pm #4425024. I spoke too soon. I tried a couple more settings and was able to recreate this.
August 15, 2018 at 9:36 pm #442576Thanks Alex for looking into this
Point 1 – Slightly confused here because I had set to use Openmaps so not sure what part Google plays. Any idea why the add listing page isn’t loading the full page and cutting off at the address section?
Point 2 – I don’t appear to have the facility to set up a default location – Its not on the menu options.
Point 3 – Understood
Point 4 – Glad you managed to reproduceAugust 16, 2018 at 9:08 am #4426455. Add listing page cutoff – please send your site URL so we can check on that.
1. We are looking into this and will post back about it.
2. This setting is at GeoDirectory – Settings – General (tab) – Default Location (subtab)

2. Default Location
Once Location Manager is installed, the default location can be set at:
GeoDirectory – Settings – Locations (tab) – Cities (subtab)
Choose a city to be the default location by clicking on the radio button in the “Default” column.

There is something conflict with Genesis Framework. We are looking with Genesis Framework meanwhile you can try with Primer theme.
