Place tags character limit?

    There seems to be a character/word limit on the place tags in listings – if I have many place tags they are getting cut off eg. here: http://www.plasticsurgeryhub.com.au/psh-directory/plastic-surgeons-nsw/dr-david-caminer/
    Is it possible to increase this limit?

    The Pricing addon allows you to set any limit of tag characters, per price package.
    Have a look at your price settings.

    Thanks, I was able to increase the limit but it still seems to be capped at 250 characters (I tried changing the limit to 400 and 1000 characters in the Pricing addon, but it stays at 250).

    Hi,

    the tags field in the databse was limited to varchar254. We fixed it and it will be in the next version.

    If you want to start testing it, you can download this file : https://github.com/GeoDirectory/geodirectory/blob/master/geodirectory-admin/admin_db_install.php

    and replace it in your server : wp-content/plugins/geodirectory/geodirectory-admin/admin_db_install.php

    After replacing it go to GeoDirectory >> GD Tools and run the tool to clear version numbers. This will change it in your database.

    Thanks, that worked, I also had to run the Sync GD Tags tool to update the frontend.
