    Hey there,

    I’ve been experimenting with the new V2 and love it so far, looking forward to a full release.

    When installing the plugin, because a number of “older” plugins still use Font-Awesome 4 I had to load font awesome 5 separately (through my main template) and install a work around using the shims outlined here.

    Unfortunately when I load geodirectory it is breaking the shims. Was wondering / was thinking it would be good to have an option to disable loading Font-Awesome 5 through geodirectory if it’s being loaded already through another plugin.

    Hi Kyle,

    We are already loading the v5 and the v4 shims, are you adding it in ur theme also?

    The whole FAv5 thing is going to be a pain for WP in general as it can be loaded in so many different ways.

    Hmm that’s weird, I’m going to try disabling a few plugins but in general when I load Geodirectory it breaks the rest of my icons everywhere else!

    Will report back with any details I can – thanks for the quick response Stiofan. Again – huge fan of this plugin.

    Just as a heads up – doesn’t appear as though it plays well with a few of the font-awesome plugins like “Better Font Awesome” I was loading through it and loading the shims through my theme but even with the shims removed it broke the “Better Font Awesome” plugin.

    Problem solved, only need geodirectory!
