    Hello,

My Dashboard width for Add Listing, My Listings and Favourites is full width of the page, which looks cumbersome, especially when adding a listing, since the scroll bar is on extreme right, opposite the list of categories on extreme left.

Have I done this by selecting a setting somewhere – or is this the default layout? How do I set it to a more manageable width (when loading, the page sometimes very fleetingly displays an appropriate width box of category options!)?

    Thanks

Hello, have you placed the widget in the TOP section area rather than the Sidebar?

    Hi Simone,

I’m a little confused about which widget and which area!

I have just moved the Login widget from Home Top to Home Content widget area and that is better, but it is still much wider than it needs to be.

I also had GD> Login Box: My Dashboard in GD Author Top Section and also in GD Author Right Sidebar – I understand that the Author page IS the front-end logged-in dashboard though – so am now thoroughly confused!

You can put the widget Login box in GD Home Right section, if you want that to appear in the homepage,..or in the Details sidebar if you want to it toappear in the listing detail page..it depends on where you want it…if you pace it in Top section or Content, it will be wider because those are content area (in the center of the website)

I didn’t have the Home Right section enabled – so have done this, set Home content to 67% and Home Right to 30% and now it looks fine.

I’m still unsure what or where the Author page is (as opposed to the User Dashboard that I have on the homepage), and where widgets will appear if I put them in the GD Author Top and GD Author Right widget areas?

Author page is the “profile” page of the owner of a listing (aka the author of the post)

OK, that makes perfect sense – and also perfect sense for me to have the login:Dashboard widget of that page as well then.

    Thanks,
    Adrian
