Map as Default featured image

    Hello,

    I would ask if it is possible to set a map as default featured image.
    I know I can set a default image in “Design -> Listing” but there is no possibility to change to the current map.

    Hi Klaus,

    Thanks for your post. Do you mean you want to replace the “Featured Image” on your homepage with a map or an image of a map?

    Hi Kor,

    If a location or event have no images. I would have a image of a map instead of a empty image where the location/event is marked with a pin.

    Hello,

    our Whoop theme features a static map image on the listing detail page. You can check it out here: https://wpgeo.directory/whoop/places/united-states/pennsylvania/philadelphia/restaurants/buddakan/

    Currently GeoDirectory allows for default images for all listings, for category, and for place type, but does not have a feature for a static map, so that would be a customization.

    I think that is an excellent idea, and would only be possible with Google;s static Maps API.
    At this time we don’t have a feature for that so it would be a customization.
