Customise my Search Button Issue

Approx 8 months ago, I was asked by the site owner to make some changes to the search page, one of which included ‘hiding’ the advanced search filter(s). My memory is that this used to appear as a customise my search, which was an accordion that I could set to open/closed by default in the Search widget settings.

However, I can’t now seem to work out how to restore the functionality. I can unhide the filters by changing the .geodir-filter-cat class to display:none;

I’m certain didn’t change any code other than css styles,. but I’m struggling to restore the original Advanced Search function.

Any ideas?
