How to Upgrade GDv1 to GDv2

    Hello! I can not find a complete guide to the transition from version 1 to version 2. Perhaps this is due to the fact that I do not speak English.

    Please correct me. Do I understand correctly? What should be done before the start of convection, in what order?

    Do I need to install a new V2 theme (supreme-directory-2.0.0.1-pk) if I use the GeoDirectory Framework V1?
    Deactivate all V1 plugins?
    Activate required V2 plugins?
    Unzip the Core GeoDirectory archive (V2.0.0.18) to the plugins folder, as specified in https://wpgeodirectory.com/location-manager-v2-beta-initial-release/, or you must use the GeoDirectory V2 archive. 0.0.34?
    Start the conversion.

    What happens if I execute the “Deactivate and delete all GDV1 Addons,
    Deactivate and delete GDV1 core plugin”? What I created with version 1 plugins will be restored after conversion?

    Hello! I don’t know why, I couldn’t remove the GeoDirectory V1 plugin from wordpress admin panel. Received an error message that the deletion failed. Deleted its directory on the hosting manually. Then I could not activate the GeoDirectory V2 plugin. After clicking on “activate”, it remains inactive. It is also not possible to remove geodirectory-2.0.0.34. With what it can be connected? I violated the instructions?

    It seems I understood that it prevented me from following the instructions correctly. Google Translate translates “Download” as “Upload,” and it confused me.

    But I do not understand when and what to do with the theme GeoDirectory framework V1. At what point do I need to change it? In paragraph 14 or should it be removed earlier? When? And what theme should I replace it in order to preserve the functionality and design of the site if I use GeoDirectory framework V1?     I think I already understood the sequence of instructions.

    It turned out that V2 of the plugins were installed:
    GeoDirectory Advanced Search Filters 2.0.0.3
    GeoDirectory Map Styles 2.0.0.0

    GeoDirectory Advanced Search Filters 2.0.0.3 retired well from adminpanel, and GeoDirectory Map Styles 2.0.0.0 was not removed and I deleted its directory on the hosting.

    Maybe because of this, the GeoDirectory GDV2 Core plugin is not activated. I received an error:

    Fatal error: Can’t use method return value in write context in /home/verni/beta.verni.help/wp-content/plugins/geodirectory/includes/libraries/wp-country-database.php on line 126

    Can you fix this problem?
