Confused about theme options

What I have installed currently is : GDF Modern

Child Theme for GeoDirectory Framework

This child theme requires its parent theme, GeoDirectory Framework.

I basically chose this by the “look” and “feel” of the example.
I have purchased the package with all add ons.

I am very close to uploading data and selling listings, prior to doing so, I want to make sure that this theme is one that will all me to setup everything that geodirectories allows and includes with their widgets ad add ons…. like the search options, the invoicing, claim a listing, sign in, log in, etc.

my second question is if i do a bunch of customization to one theme and I want to “try” another theme is there a way to “back up” or save what I have done if I want to go back?

I’m not 100% satisfied with the look of my directory, I’m hoping to make it a little more modern. i’m afraid that i have done too much customization and ruined it.. lol
