Converting V1 to V2

    Hi,

    Ive just followed all of the instructions to upgrade from V1 to V2 btu getting concerned that im not seeing many listings come trhough, although i may just be impatient.

    After abot 20 minutes i can see that i now have around 1300 listings in my ‘Places’ category. I have alot of custom post types but im not seeing any of these come through. Overall i had around 100,000+ listings.

    Should i be concerned?

    Can you provide Database and FTP access, if there is a cpanel installed that would also work.

    Thanks for the info, i found the issue which was a strange one, the problem was that your site url has been changed from not having the www. to now having the www. part, we convert the term urls to be relative and this was causing it to fail at that part.

    I’ll add a check for that in future.

    I had to disable a few of your plugins, please activate any ones you were using and then all you will have to do is a little bit of design stuff, like adding widgets where you want.

    Hi,

    Many thanks for your help with this. Hopefully a help for you guys to just to build in another check as you mentioned.

    I have noticed that on the listings that it already converted the ‘Location’ is missing from each listing? Is t his something that can be recovered? I did try to go into a listing and enter manually but i cant see anywhere anymore where you can enter the listing location or Longitude and Latitude settings either? Am i missing something?

    Also getting alot of internal 500 errors now when trying to edit a post or page?? Not sure if this is related but cant edit any of the Gd pages etc.

    Ok, sorted the 500 internal errors, looks like it was something to do with the Ninjaforms plugin. Have disabled this and all working ok.

    Hi Alex,

    Currently 2 problems,

    The initial conversion that was done done not show the ‘Location’ of each listing. Is there anyway of doing the conversion again for these listings or is the data gone?

    2nd problem is that i cannot add this data manually either? Cant seem to see any of the location, address, website details etc when editing a listing?

    Hi Paul,

    Can u point me to a listing that is missing the info, i could not see one?

    Maybe someone already took a look at this as it all seems to be working? Some of the fields are missing on the add listing page becasue they are restricted to some pricing packages.
