I’m having issues with the layout of my details page, my archive page and my Archieve item page. So I saw the I structions that I could use the tool to reset any missing pages. I moved my GD Archives page to the trash and ran to Page reset tool under Gd tools. But it did not make me a new page. Do I have to delete the page out of my trash also for the page to be re-generated? And if I regenerate it with the tool will all the sidebar setting that are setup in the widgets auto install or will that all have to be re-set
January 11, 2019 at 3:04 pm #462726Hi Stephanie,
Thanks for your post. Could you permanently remove the GD pages from the Trash and try generating the GD pages again? It works when I tested it on our dev site.
Thanks!
January 11, 2019 at 11:17 pm #462815I tried that. I still think it looks really weird but I’m going to put in some fake listings and see what happens and I’ll let u know. Thx.

you can use the Supreme customizer options to change the site spacing options. You might want to set it back to the default width so the display looks like the default, if that is what you are after.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/themes/supreme/#customizer
Currently the gd_output_locations widget is not placed in the GD Sidebar. If you want to show custom fields in the sidebar, here are some instructions for setup:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/personalize/#show
To customize the featured listing widget you can either edit the GD Archive Item to alter all listings, or use customize with css. We have some common CSS customization examples here:
January 13, 2019 at 4:43 am #4629861. customizer options / spacing …
I can not find where to fix the spacing.. i have gone thru these instructions… i have each page’s page attributes set at “default. I have changed this option thru the time that I have been setting up the pages to try to fix this issue.. but it has not fixed it… but i have double checked the pages today and confirm that they are all now set on default…. and doesn’t seem to be changing anything now.I have unchecked the feature image output… GeoDirectory – Settings – Design – Detail page – Disable theme feature image output? – UNCHECK
I do not see anywhere else to change the default width… if you see that can you tell me where to find it or where to fix it at please. I have followed the instructions and it still does not change what the pages look like.. .
2. gd output locations, I have added the widget to the sidebar… and I have read the info.. but I still don’t get it…. I don’t understand what the widget does…. is it suppose to display a map of the location of the listing???? . I don’t know what it is supposed to be displaying… because every time I go to GD Archive page, GD Archive item page, or GD Details, it does not look like what the documents on the website say they should look like… I have deleted and reset pages, I have checked for defaults.. i have compared the code to the examples online… and all the code “look the same” but the actual pages on my site look nothing like the examples.
3. I feel like I can do nothing at this point with customizing the archive item, because i don’t see it displayed on any of the pages.. so I don’t know what I’m looking at or if the customizing is working…
I am so discouraged!!!!!!!

2. gd_output_locations will display whichever custom fields you have set to display in the location you select in the widget. If you set a custom field to “Details pa…”, then set the widget to “Details pa..” then it will show the field.
3. Not sure what you mean about that. You can also customize the Archive Item by opening the page and editing the contents.January 14, 2019 at 3:48 pm #463189Having issues still with The layouts on my Archieves pages, Archieves item and details pages and now my search page. They still are not like the examples shown in the documents on GD help. I have compared the css in the help documents to each page and it all seems to match.
I have deleted and “restored “ pages with the tools. I have checked my spacing settings. They all look like they are set at default settings.
And now my search results page shows nothing at all. Just a blank page.
Is it possible for someone to fix my pages to look like they show they are supposed in a fresh install of the supreme directory V2 like the examples?
