Custom Fields – Advanced Search

    Apologies, just starting with GD (awesome by the way) and this might be a stupid question but can’t find anything realted to this here in the forum

    I want to add custom fields to place, have advanced search addon enabled. GD V2.0

    In the place CPT it says in the GD documentation:
    Activate the Advanced Search addon.
    Go to GD > Place (or other CPT) Settings > Custom Fields tab.
    Select Yes to include the categories drop down in the Advanced Search

    I don’t have a button there to switch on advanced search (it is a select field)

    Am I missing something?

    It should already be available on the Search tab in GDV2

    Yep, it is. Just got confused re documentation. I am assuming I was reading GD V1 documentation? – https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/

    I am correct to say that all custom fields “select’ will automatically turn up in the “Available advance search options” under the “search” tab and I can then select it to appear in the advanced search?
