Hi, I have about 8 CPTs which have about 20 custom fields each. Of these about 15 are common to all, including many which i have defined for one CPT. I have also made some settings in standard fields (eg address show only city, not show region, neigbourhood, country, latlong)

Is there any way to either:
    1. Clone CPTs so custom fields and tabs get replicated in the new one, and then tweaks can be made?, or
    2. Copy Custom fields from one CPT to the other?, or
    3. Make available new defined fields & fieldsets in one CPT to be selected in anohtr CPT rather than the same field being set 8 times?, or
    4. Make available standard field settings (Eg address settings as mentioned above) to all CPTs, instd of making same settings 8 times?

Any of these options would help reduce time & effort in setting up so will be delighted if you could tell me if / how these can be done?

    thanks,
    Vivek.

    Hi Vivek,

Thanks for your post. You can always export your listings following the instructions here. https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/ and clone/edit any CPT’s you like.

    Thanks!

It is not possible at this time to export/import CPT definitions. Fields must be recreated individually through the backend custom fields UI.
