    Hi,

I have installed this plugin and have decided that for my directory I will not be allowing users to claim listings, I will be creating all listings. I am confused about my options with setting up paid subscriptions for the listings and how payment could be made.

    Thank you

If the user never claims a listing, and users don’t make listings, then you also don’t need the pricing manager plugin.

However, when a subscription expires, the listing won’t be unpublished automatically because it won’t be connected to the listing.

So, maybe a different option is to mark most fields as “admin only” so the users cannot edit them?

    Thank you for your reply.

What I am trying to achieve is a system where I add listings and then I send out an invoice through WPinvoicing and this then links to the subscription for that listing and notifies me of export etc.

    Is this possible?

I’m just a bit confused how to link up payments, subscriptions and listings even if I did do what you suggested above and enabled users to claim listings with limited fields to edit.

    Hello again,

GD is designed for the following basic workflow:

    Site Visitor:

Register, Add listing, Pay, edit listing

With claim, you have 2 workflows

    1. Site owner:

Add listings, contact the lead with a link to the listing

    2. Site Visitor

    Claim Listing, Pay, edit listing

What you mention is possible with one modification:

Site Owner add listing, set listing to draft, send invoice (then back to 2 above).

Most fields can be set to admin only, disallowing the listing owner from editing them.
