Hello,
I had my GD V1 site recently converted to GD V2 by one of the GD Experts.
In this GD V1 thread:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/issue-with-noapikeys/
it was said:
“GeoDirectory is not compatible with that plugin. Pluse use wp super cache or GD Booster.
We don’t provide support for other caching plugins for GDv1.
GDv2 should work with most caching systems.”
However, I tried and exactly the same problem persists with GD V2 (no API keys) and it works only disabling js optimization.
Any chance that something can be made for this plugin to properly work with GD V2? Some indications for the developers?
I tried most cache / optimization plugins and this one has given the best performance by far and, according to what I read in articles and forums, is quickly gaining reputation amongst the WP community.
I look forward to your reply.
Thank you very much for your attention.
Best regards.
March 6, 2019 at 4:32 pm #473008The topic you reference was about GDV1.
GDV2 should work with most cache plugins. Are you seeing an error with Swift Performance Lite?
March 6, 2019 at 4:55 pm #473018Hi Alex,
Thank you very much for your reply.
As I said, with GD V2 I am experiencing exactly the same problem than with GD V1, that is, “No API keys” error message from Google Maps.
And the solution with GD V2 is exactly the same than with GD V1: disabling js optimization.
I am using the Premium version of Swift Performance, not the Lite version.
I look forward to your reply.
Thank you very much for your attention.
Best regards.
March 6, 2019 at 7:17 pm #473076The developers will need to take a look.
Please share WP Admin and FTP so they can see what they issue is.
Can you say which page throws the error?
Have you tried excluding Google Maps from the cached files / optimization?March 7, 2019 at 5:13 am #473246Hello,
Because every Thursday I am using the site to run a weekly online marketing campaign and the GD V1 to GD V2 conversion has left several key issues that affect the campaign, today Thursday the 7th March I am restoring the old GD V1 site to be able to run the campaign normally.
Please, do not mark this ticket as resolved. Tomorrow Friday the 8th March I will restore the GD V2 site so we will be able to continue dealing with any issue left after the conversion and definitely solve all them.
Thank you very much for your understanding and help.
Best regards.
March 8, 2019 at 7:12 am #473511Hi Alex,
Thank you very much for your response.
I would like first to try to exclude the Google Maps scripts from js optimization, but I do not know the names of these scripts that I should insert in the js optimization exclusion field of Swift Performance settings.
Can you help?
I look forward to your reply.
Thank you very much once again for your help.
Best regards.

Please post WP Admin credentials so we can take a look and see.

Merge Scripts ?
Disable jQuery MigrateThe first one is necessary to alleviate the error?
March 9, 2019 at 5:45 am #473729Hi Alex,
Thank you very much for your reply.
It is a single setting the one that cancels the problem with Google Maps API keys: Optimization – Scripts – Merge Scripts (Off).
I look forward to your reply.
Thank you very much once again for your attention.
Best regards.
