Custom url field – anchor text – v2

Hello,

I’m trying to set up a URL custom field where the user can specify the URL AND the anchor text. Currently, the “default value” box doesn’t seem to do anything, even thought it seems to be exactly what I need. The description of this field is: A default value for the field, usually blank. (for “link” this will be used as the link text).

Ideally, there would be 2 text boxes, where the user can enter different values for the link label and the link URL. I see this question came up a while back (January 20, 2016 at 4:54 pm #69553) and I was wondering if GeoDirectory V2 already offers a better solution than
http://mysite.com/|anchor text ?

I’m using GeoDir V2 and WordPress 5.1.
