Sorry, no record were found. Please adjust your search criteria and try again. How i can do it? setting prob?
July 30, 2015 at 10:30 am #47507You need to use the location switcher, you are stuck in a location without knowing it.
The switcher will show you where you are.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/multilocations/#locationJuly 31, 2015 at 3:33 am #47599Thank Guust 🙂 its work !!
I use the location switcher, and put it on navigation bar.
Its work, when appear “No Records Found”, i change location, its turn back to location map i want.======
but, if I set listing page appear 10 place,
If a city have more than 10 place, when i click next page,
will automatic convert
worldbeenet.com/place/malaysia/johor/johor-bahru/ to worldbeenet.com/place/page/2/
its appear “No Records Found” again.I’m worry that if a city have more than 100 place, how i set it in a page?
July 31, 2015 at 4:56 am #47607Can you post your admin details in a private reply?
You seem to be using some caching that is not compatible, and have named your location and listings page the same, they seem to both called “place”, which means your site does not work properly.July 31, 2015 at 12:21 pm #47644This reply has been marked as private.July 31, 2015 at 12:32 pm #47648That is not an admin account 🙁
July 31, 2015 at 12:40 pm #47652Sorry Guust, I forgot to set the account as admin 😛
Now done~July 31, 2015 at 12:53 pm #47655Please check.
I renamed your listings page to /places from /place because you were using the same slug for location and listings pages.
Location page example: http://worldbeenet.com/place/malaysia/johor/
Listing sample page: http://worldbeenet.com/places/finance-1/You also had removed all widget areas of the GD home/location page, I now added the section widgets again.
July 31, 2015 at 12:57 pm #47657Ok, Now i removed all widget areas of the GD home/location page.
August 2, 2015 at 11:45 am #47839Hi Guust, I still have some question.
July 31, after you done.
the page 2 problem was solved.
and i go to front-end page testing, when i change location, its work. But I go to page 2, some times will appear lost again, because location automatic disappear(Menu : Johor Bahru > Change location).
event listing is correct but place listing appear above prob.
Don’t know what prob i meet, I still find answer in forum.August 2, 2015 at 11:48 am #47840another question is
We must Ask user if they wish to be geolocated?
then they can visit our whole pages, with their location?if they ignore the message, map will disappear, rite?
August 2, 2015 at 12:09 pm #47841You can NOT use the same slug for your location pages and the category pages.
I have changed your location pages back to place.
Example of LOCATION page:
http://worldbeenet.com/place/malaysia/johor/
Example of LISTINGS (category) page:
http://worldbeenet.com/places/
http://worldbeenet.com/events/If you choose a different location from the switcher, you go to the LOCATION page of that location, not to the LISTINGS page.
So if you are at
http://worldbeenet.com/events/ (a LISTINGS page)
and you choose Johor from the switcher, you go to
http://worldbeenet.com/place/malaysia/johor/ (a LOCATION page). You do not ask the user to be Geolocated.
If you untick “Ask user if they wish to be geolocated” at
GD > Advanced Search > Geolocation settings,
the popup will not appear. You only have a map on your homepage, which is not a GD page.
So if a user is on your homepage (with the map) and they choose a different location from the switcher or by saying yes to the popup, then they will be taken to a LOCATION page.
You have not added any maps to the LOCATION page.August 2, 2015 at 12:56 pm #47842oh i see, now i understand difference between location page & listing (category)
before that i thought both same, and didn’t know that is category, my fault.Thank Guust, super like WP GeoDirectory’s and your service, very fast to solve customer’s prob, I’m enjoying 5 star service, thank you 🙂
