    Is there a shortcode or widget that can be used to show the current user’s favorite listings on a page? I don’t want to use the user dashboard.

    Thanks for the help.

    Also, is it possible to show the current user’s own listings using the GD Listings widget or shortcode?

    I tried this code:
    [gd_listings post_type=”gd_place” post_author=”3″]

    However, it looks like the post_author param needs to be manually set. Is it possible to make this the current user instead (without having to manually enter their ID?)

    I realize that you can do this all with PHP by modifying a template, but I was hoping to avoid that route.

    Thanks for all the help.

    Instructions for showing the current user’s listings are in the advanced settings of GD Listings for the filter by author option. See attached screenshot. The “i with popups have important information in them. What you want is

    post_author="current_user"

    We have a task to add “Favorites Only” to GD Listings in an upcoming version but no timetable yet.

    Is there an update on this? Can we use the gd_listings shortcode to display a user’s favorite listings?

    This has been implemented and will be in next release of GeoDirectory v2.0.0.56.

    Patch available at here: https://github.com/AyeCode/geodirectory/pull/718/commits/eddb8f76842e6ee9679f5f43d6d48afdad70387e
