    Dear Sir/Madam,
    I am unable to create Custom Post Type (place) in the search bar. Like the following link.

    Is there anybody there to answer my questions? Or tell me what time should i send a message to get fastest answer? I sit in my office here and wait somebody read and answer me about something that we couldnt make it work since 2 months. Your documentation is extremely confusing and just wasting time. Im ready to give up and return your product. This is insane.

    You have posted in GDV1 forum. Are you using GDV1?

    The CPT selector is created automatically when you have more than one CPT.

    To add a CPT with GDV1, go to

    GD – Settings – Custom Post Types – Add new

    Add a listing or dummy content

    Then every search bar will show the CPT select.

    By default gd_place is there. but this is not shown in the search bar. I have used GDV2.
    Can you look my wp-admin ?

    Hi,

    currently, you only have 1 post type. https://www.turkiyem.net/wp-admin/admin.php?page=gd-settings&tab=cpts

    To show the drop down, you need to create another post type and add at least 1 listing in each post type.

    If instead, you want to add your categories there, you can do that with the Advance Search Add-on. You’d go to Places > Settings > Search and add the category as a new filter. In the option for the filter you’ll see a checkbox to set it as a select field within the main search widget.

    I want to add background image in the search bar. I searched from your support forum. There are an option like gd >> design >> scripts, but I have no this type of option. Please let me know which plugin upload and I get this type of option where I can add css.

    V2 doesn’t have an input for custom css, because now WordPress includes one in the customizer.
