Hello, could you help me where I can enable again “Show related post listing on” with the new version of Geodirectory v2. It turns out that this feature I want to be enabled for certain price packages since it helps me to moneterize or sell the packages better.
April 20, 2019 at 6:14 pm #481940Related listings is covered here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/templates/details/
You can show or hide it with custom CSS based on the package ID in the body class. We have an example of doing that here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/common-examples/

April 27, 2019 at 1:14 am #483135Hello Alex, I’ve been checking the links you gave me.
“Related Listings with GD Listings” I already learned how to put it as a tab on the details page. But I can not find in the link that you gave me: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/common-examples/
The code for “Related Listings with GD Listings” only appears in the free price package. And that’s what I want to do.Could you point me out more clearly with an anchor link?
April 27, 2019 at 6:03 pm #483218Textarea fields have a new option in v20055.
Add a new text area, and use the advanced options for embedded media.
Add you GD Listing Shortcode there as the default value.
Make the field Admin only and save it.
Exclude the field from your premium listing package, include in your free package.
Add the field as a tab or however you like on the Details page.
April 28, 2019 at 12:41 am #483263Thanks for your answer. I already tested your solution and it did not work.
Watch video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1wphdQNZjr1rwP-85AhiVZjsAL1DaXhJT/view?usp=sharingI describe what I want to do:
I want to add a new tab.
As well as the description tab.
In that tab I want to show only the publications related to the same category.
And the most important thing: I want that tab to only show up in the price packages that are free.So the result that I want to achieve that this new tab that is called “Medicos similares” (Similar doctors) only appears in the publications that have the free price package.
example of a post that has the free package in geodirectory v1 shows the tab that I named it “Similar doctors”
Example image in geodirectory v1 of my previous website: Tab “Similar doctors” only shown in the publications with free price package ”
April 28, 2019 at 6:50 pm #483311Hello,
the only way to do it then, for now, is to add a shortcode in a tab and hide it for the price packages where you don’t want to show it.
Once you setup the tab send us a link here and we will take a look.
April 28, 2019 at 9:05 pm #483338I do not see in what part of the short code construction, I’m going to tell the plugins to only show it in the price package # 1 that is free. I do not find that option.
Therefore the plugins shows the tab called “Similar doctors” in all publications. Regardless of the price package that is.
As I show you in this video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TAACqHhhw3-wgM3yTeOvSBDT2Bu8VzRA/view?usp=sharing
I share also, the following category where there are two publications that are paid and one that is free. And you will see that in all the publications the tab is shown and what I want is that it only shows in the one that is free.
https://redsalud.com.sv/medicos/categoria/otorrinolaringologos/April 29, 2019 at 7:49 am #483378Please provide a link to the listing page where the tab is setup.
Thanks
April 29, 2019 at 11:16 am #483415Example 1 of paid post (the price package # 7 that is paid):
Example2 of free post (the price package # 1 that is free):
As you can see the tab Related Listings with GD Listings, which I have called “Similar doctors”, appears in all the post.
It appears as much in what they are of payment as the free ones ..
I want the tab Related Listings with GD Listings, which I have called “Similar doctors” only appears in the posts that are free.
April 29, 2019 at 3:44 pm #483491Hi Giovan,
Thanks for your reply. Try using the custom CSS code below and see if it works.
.gd-post-pkg-7 [data-tab="#similar-doctors"] {display:none!important;}
April 29, 2019 at 5:18 pm #483510Thanks Kor
If it worked with your solution. Thank you.
But now I have a new idea or wish more:
I think it would be better to put that Tab as subtab, below the description.
As I show you in this video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1HTQ3jj-AnXCte41kXN49WzJjT_913ehi/view?usp=sharing
I already test the code that you gave me by putting the tab as sub tab and that way the css code that you gave me does not work.
What would I have to add to the code that you gave me or that I would have to modify?
April 29, 2019 at 6:25 pm #483529You will need to inspect the code and find the new name of the tab.
Then substitute that in the CSS example Kor gave.More info here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/addons/pricing-manager/#hide
April 29, 2019 at 6:48 pm #483544yes. I already replaced the name of the tab in the code Kor gave me and it works. but what I want to do now is put that tab as sub tab below the other tab called description. so when I put it as sub tab the code that Kor did not work. Wachat vídeo.
April 30, 2019 at 2:58 pm #483699I don’t see it on the paid listing anymore.
In any case, the CSS would look similar to the example above, you might just need to wrap the shortcode in a custom class and target that class. -
