I just noticed on my phone when holding the phone straight up portrait style, the gallery has a big space on the right. How can this space be removed?
May 1, 2019 at 9:03 pm #484052The site is ThingsToDoInNC.com
This listing is https://thingstodoinnc.com/places/gastonia/viva-tequis/
May 1, 2019 at 10:01 pm #484053Try this CSS, adjust as required:
@media (max-width: 600px) { .geodir-image-container ul.geodir-images.geodir-gallery li { min-width: 49%; } }Thanks
May 3, 2019 at 1:28 am #484230Ok, thanks. I’m curious though, will this be resolve in an update of the them? I imagine the theme developer wouldn’t want it this way. This way I’m not adding CSS that may be unnecessary at some point…
May 3, 2019 at 1:03 pm #484307We have added a task to incorporate the required changes.
ThanksMay 13, 2019 at 5:31 am #486067I’m wondering if I should wait or go ahead and use the CSS. I am doing my best to limit CSS. I don’t want to add CSS that will not be needed later, esp. if it’s soon. Thanks again!
May 13, 2019 at 11:09 am #486124I suggest to go ahead and use the CSS, then delete when it is fixed in a future update.
ThanksMay 13, 2019 at 6:45 pm #486208Thanks, I normally don’t know what the updates change though… Is that information available in the WP admin plugin update area?
May 13, 2019 at 6:56 pm #486217This fixed the issue there is one listing that looks off. The logo for neofilm on the https://veganlinked.com/services/ listings page is cut off on the sides. I don’t know why the other listings, look good…
Even this listing https://veganlinked.com/services/united-states/south-carolina/myrtle-beach/gingalley-web-design-print/ that has an image that isn’t necessarily a good ratio looks better on the listings page. Only the problem listing’s logo is not nearly as wide, and it is featured which may be irrelevant…
May 13, 2019 at 11:35 pm #486241The changelog can be found at
https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/supreme-directory/?changelog=1
or
https://veganlinked.com/wp-content/themes/supreme-directory/change_log.txtTry adding this to your images shortcode in the Archive Item template:
[gd_post_images ........ cover="n"]Or add this CSS:
.geodir-image-container ul.geodir-images li img {object-fit: contain;}The image for GINGalley probably should be cropped: https://veganlinked.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/gingalley-cover-1400×267.jpg
Thanks
May 14, 2019 at 1:53 am #486257The image for GINGalley is fine in Google. It’s just not in IE. And that is irrelevant to the fact they’re ALL distorted in IE and your initial CSS made the default image out of place.
Can you/someone give me a solution that I don’t need to test please. I have already been trying to make GD work for over a year with this project alone with no success, losing countless hours and getting nowhere. Fixing this issue will fix something wrong with GD. So, it seems like a solution is needed and I’m not a GD beta tester, at least I don’t want to be, esp. since I’m paying for it. I just want to get to a point where this works so I can actually use it. I don’t want to spend anymore time in here, I want to use this site, not keep coming back here. Please help me resolve this.
