I have started creating custom page title and descriptions for location pages under Multilocations>SEO Settings but they are not displaying on google search results pages. Instead it just displays as “Location” I have Yoast installed and I have unchecked the box in Geodirectory>Titles & Metas. I am also not seeing where to change the page titles for Location and Category pages. Please see attached screenshots. thank you
May 4, 2019 at 12:24 am #484428I guess the issue is related because you are redirecting pages, like https://internationaltherapistdirectory.com/france/ is redirected to https://internationaltherapistdirectory.com/location/france-1/
Or you are having links somewhere to pages like or you are having links somewhere, like https://internationaltherapistdirectory.com/france/ and WP redirects that automatically to https://internationaltherapistdirectory.com/location/france-1/
And you have incorrect locations:
https://internationaltherapistdirectory.com/location/france-1/all/It can take a while for Google to re-crawl your site and update its database, so if you changed the meta data only recently, you may have to check later.
The data is there, see

May 10, 2019 at 3:48 pm #485640Hello,
https://internationaltherapistdirectory.com/france/ is a page that we has before we added Geodirectory to the website. That is why there is a redirects to https://internationaltherapistdirectory.com/location/france-1/I don’t understand why redirecting from pages that we were using before we added Geodirectory would affect the SEO of the page we are directing to.
Why does my France location page have a title only of “Location”?? I want all of the location pages to say “Find a Therapist in [Location]”
How do I fix that if I am using Yoast? Thanks!
Also what do you mean by having wrong location? I didnd’t create this page manually. You wrote “And you have incorrect locations:

There is nothing wrong with the page, like I said, the data is there. Right click on the page and select “View source”. See image below.
No-one but Google can control when they decide to crawl your pages, and when to update their databases with the new information. Why does my France location page have a title only of “Location”?? I want all of the location pages to say “Find a Therapist in [Location]”
The title of the page at https://internationaltherapistdirectory.com/location/france-1/ has this title: “Find a Therapist in France”. See image.
Also what do you mean by having wrong location? I didnd’t create this page manually. You wrote “And you have incorrect locations:
https://internationaltherapistdirectory.com/location/france-1/all/”There is no city or department in France that is called “all”. That location at https://internationaltherapistdirectory.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=geodirectory&tab=managelocation_fields&subtab=geodir_location_manager needs to be merged with a real city.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/manage-location/#mergeTo change titles and meta and control the interaction between Yoast and GD, go to GD > Title and Meta.
Thanks
