I do not know what’s wrong with my website but the button near me does not work well, it does not show the places to my current location. On the contrary it shows the most distant. As I show in the video:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1e5gaKyeq1g4Dq8CDqxUUFReZBvtTS_QB/view?usp=sharing
For example there are places that are shown first that is more than 140 km away from my current location.
I want the closest ones to show up first.

https://redsalud.com.sv/searchx/?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_place&spost_category%5B%5D=&s=+&snear=&saseguradoras_medicos%5B%5D=&sort_by=&sgeo_lat=13.71189067&sgeo_lon=-89.207313&near=meWhat is the URL you get?
Thanks

add_location_filter="1"
to your
[gd_listings]
shortcode.
If we need to have a look at your settings, then please post your WP Admin details in a private reply.
Thanks
May 12, 2019 at 6:53 pm #485994Thank Guust, the parameter for the short code that you gave me if it helps with the button near me.
But The problem is given for example if I want to search 3 km away from my current location. (As I show you in the video) In that case shows me the places more than 3 km away scrambled with those who are 3 km away.
I do not know if there is a problem with the url that the geodirectry plugin deploys since it seems that at the end of this url you need the length value. Something like this:
“& sort_by = & dist = 3 & sgeo_lat = & sgeo_lon =”

Try adding a location in first, then select 3km and then click searching.
The video shows you have not given a central point to search around.Let us know.

May 18, 2019 at 10:07 pm #487323Hi. Maybe I have mixed two questions in one. But in this support request I would like to clarify more the point on the button near me. It is the following: I have added the following short code to the location page:
[gd_listings sort_by = “distance_asc” layout = “list” post_limit = “10” add_location_filter = “1”]And this short code works well only the first time from a determined location. But if I move to a different place to find places near my current location
your plugins always keeps showing me and the same locations that you showed me the first time. That is, it does not show me the places that I should show according to my new location. As if there was a memory in the cache forever. How can this be resolved?
Currently put the “button near me” on the main menu of my website, with the object that is at hand from anywhere on the website where the user navigates
May 18, 2019 at 10:08 pm #487325For example from this location:
https://redsalud.com.sv/location/near/me/13.6757248,-89.27969279999999/
May 19, 2019 at 1:05 am #487346sort_by = “distance_asc” does only work on detail pages, it needs a central point of one listing to refer to.
Pages like https://redsalud.com.sv/location/near/me/13,-89.27969279999999/
and
https://redsalud.com.sv/location/near/me/13.6757248,-89.27969279999999/
have different results, so it is working.Switch to this page for your location page in your GD Settings to do more testing: https://redsalud.com.sv/location-test
May 19, 2019 at 3:46 am #487366Thanks for your help.
But the problem is that it always shows the same result, as that result will stay stuck in the memory cache and does not show the desired result.
Does the user of my website have to be deleting the cookies and browsing history every time he changes places?
For example:
In Location 1
https://redsalud.com.sv/location-test/near/me/13.6757248,-89.27969279999999/In Location 2
https://redsalud.com.sv/location-test/near/me/13.7118854,-89.2051197/May 19, 2019 at 5:20 am #487372Most likely that is because you only move a little bit:
https://redsalud.com.sv/location-test/near/me/13.2898323,-88.6730548/
https://redsalud.com.sv/location-test/near/me/13.9021229,-89.8909785/Thanks
