Menu Navigation "how to add CTP's

Hello. I am trying to absorb all the great changes. I am a little exhausted in searching for “how to add CTP” link to navigation that will direct user to complete the appropriate listing form.

Next, I am toying with the idea of a role / permissions membership plugin and may need to know the Slug to use and / or the id to use.

Finally, in the CPT listings widgets (the old one) we could “tick” a check box to exclude cpt’s not wanted in the listing. How do we “exclude” them now?
