    Hi,

I have upgraded the Core and all other modules. A new category added to any of my custom post-types only shows up on the back-end and will not display on the front end when I select ‘customize my search’.

However, the new category does show up on the front-end when I display events
and when I select ‘add listing’.

    Thanks,

Can we have more details please, where should we look. What category of which post type?

Select full member from the top menu, then ‘customize my search’,
select ‘more’ from the first category (technology category), you will not find a category I just added by the name of ‘IT Tutoring / Training”.

Now, if you go back to show all the full members again, go to the rt sidebar and select ‘add listing’ from MY Desktop (NASC member login), you will see that
IT Tutor / Training is listed in the field ‘technology category’

Also, see if you have a problem when selecting ‘add listing’ from my menu when using Firefox (IE is OK), My menu items go away after you drop down from hovering over it.

    Update:

Installed newest GD core today, all addons uptodate, the one category that was the problem above now shows up.

But, I created 10 new categories in our basic member custom post-type and they do not show up in ‘customize my search’, but as before, they show up in the category list when I go to ‘add listing’.

Cleared cache, used different browsers, same thing.

Also upgraded to the new AVADA theme v3.5

This continues to be an issue, I’m sure you will get around to it after the critical problems have been ironed out. Would like to have a confirmation of the problem when possible, in case it’s an Avada issue.

Oddly, we just added about 5 categories to our Channel Partner CPT and one shows up it custom search, in the past, none have shown up.
