I have checked and rechecked my Google Maps API key, limited my domain, verified my domain, and cannot get the maps to display on https://www.galaxyofstars.org. For the moment they do appear, they are in a foreign language. I have confirmed English has been selected in the set-up wizard.

    Hi cshaffstall,

Thanks for your post. I’ve just checked your Website and I’m able to see a console error regarding the Google Map API key as shown in the attached screenshot. Could you go through the tutorial again from this section of the documentation and see if you’ve left out any steps? https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/google/ .
Currently, the error message is regarding this https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#referer-not-allowed-map-error

The current URL loading the Maps JavaScript API has not been added to the list of allowed referrers. Please check the referrer settings of your API key in the Google Cloud Platform Console.

Try removing the restrictions until you get it working, then add them back (with changes) once you know the key works. It can be frustrating not knowing which/what is the problem, but, as Kor points out it is actually the referrer rules (restrictions) that are blocking your key.
