Hi there the GeoDir Dashboard is not working correctly on my site, all other things do perfectly. Always when i click in the Menü links fpr the dashboar i.E. “My Listings it brings me to my “Postings”
The link looks like that: XXX.com/autor/leogc/?geodir_dashbord=true&stype=gd_place&list=favourite
Or that: XXX.com/autor/leogc/?geodir_dashbord=true&stype=gd_place
Thats maybe wrong because there it shows me only my Blogpostings not the entries of the directory… And i would like to see my entries only! In case there is a short code or something like that (i searched everywere) which shows just the entries i have made in the directory would be great, but i guess the shortcode will have the same problem as soon you klick on it, right? Maybe any ideas?
Ah and i like to delete the “My Invoice and the “log out” link in the sidebar as well, how can i do that? See pic attached
ThanksMay 30, 2019 at 6:05 am #489931Hi Thomas,
Thanks for your post. Could you please share your Website WP admin access here in private reply so that we could check your GD setup?
May 30, 2019 at 7:25 am #489940Hi Kor,
unfortunately not as the website is totally blocked by htacess as we are switching from an old PHP script to WP and to avoid problems with search engins etc. we have blocked out everyone as this is just in a test area. But i can post screenshoots just let me know which parts you exactly like to see.
May 30, 2019 at 7:47 am #489943Hi Thomas,
Thanks for your reply. Well, the GD dashboard will only display listings from the directories. Do you mean you want a link to list out all your blog posts?
You can remove the “My Invoice and the “log out” link using custom CSS code as explained here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/
May 30, 2019 at 8:11 am #489946Hi Kor,
no that is the problem it shows NOT the entries from the directory it shows only my postings from the Blog/News Area, see screenshot attached. The same with “My Favourites”…
Ok for the CSS found it but which code i need to add to remove the two links? See second Screenshot…
May 30, 2019 at 8:20 am #489951Maybe i have something wrong in the theme compability? I use Multi News…
But is is marked in the Administration Area of GeoDir, so it shoul dbe all correct then…
May 30, 2019 at 9:58 am #489964Hi Thomas Froehling,
Thanks for your reply. I believe something is conflicting GD, could you clone the site to another staging URL where we can troubleshoot this for you?
May 30, 2019 at 3:43 pm #490022Are you using GDV1 or GDV2?
May 30, 2019 at 3:46 pm #490023Hm,
i don’t think this is possible. Any other ideas how we can handle that? Would prefer to understand where the problem is, so i can check this by my own, just in case such things will happen again. Just let me know what you need to see and i will post screenshots over here 🙂

May 30, 2019 at 3:51 pm #490026Hi Thomas,
Thanks for your reply. It looks like to me that you’re using GDv1 and your theme has taken over the user profile page. Could you try switching to our GD Supreme Directory or Directory Starter theme and see if it works correctly?
May 30, 2019 at 3:54 pm #490031GDv1 is in use.
I have no other Themes installed as we need the News Theme as for the page in total. So if i will not work with the news theme, why there is a compatible mode for the theme from Momizat..?
Solution? Not using the Plug In have spend tons of time ti translate and preper all for the page and now in the final test it is not working properly… 🙁
May 30, 2019 at 4:36 pm #490046Hi Thomas Froehling,
Thanks for your reply. Compatible mode for themes is usually available for popular 3rd party themes. If you could find a way to let us check your Website backend, we can forward this to our developer to check on the compatibility. Without access, we won’t be able to help much, unfortunately.
May 30, 2019 at 4:39 pm #490049The problem is, would i give you an entry to my backend, nothing is save anymore, even the GDPR regulations would not allow me to do that, giving a third party company acces to the database etc. would be more then problematic in different ways, you should understand.
Besides that if the solution is “easy” i would like to understand it (doing by my own) to see how the thing is working corectly, to avoid such problems in future.
So if you are unable to work with screenshot (i can send you tons of it, from each part of the page) then i guess i need to delete this plug in even it i spend nearly 3 weeks just for that part of the website…
May 30, 2019 at 4:43 pm #490051anyway is there no way to link directly to the dashboard, or using a shortcode for it to show in a new page?
May 30, 2019 at 5:10 pm #490053Hi,
GDPR allows you to give access to support providers for tech help. Just need to add a notice to your privacy policy.
please read our support policy. https://wpgeodirectory.com/support-policy/
Your theme is causing the problem, not our plugin, please ask for support to the theme author if you can’t give us access to see the problem.
