How to change the default city, region, country on the add listing form?

    You just change the default location at GD > Settings > Locations. You will have to create a new location or use an existing one to merge with your current default location.
    Be aware that the addresses of any listings in your current default location will need to be updated

    How exactly do you do that because I’m at GD Settings > Settings > Locations and there isn’t any option to change the default location.

    The entire point #2. There isn’t any option to merge or select the current default location anywhere on the interface.

    We also don’t want to merge locations, just setup a default new location for the add listing form. It’s currently set to be Philadelphia USA and if we want to set it to Berlin, Germany, merging those two locations doesn’t make sense.

    Normally you set the default location when setting up the directory.
    If you did not do that, you have to do it the way I described.
    You can also disable the Location Manager and that will leave you with one location which you can then change. But that will break most addresses so that is why I did not suggest that.
    The option to merge is only available when selecting at least 2 locations.

    Oops, I just checked and since V2 you can just choose any location to be default when editing the location. That is new in V2.

    Select a new default location in
    GD – Settings – Locations (tab) – Cities (subtab)

    I am not sure if you were asking it exactly, but, is not possible to set a different location for each add listing form.

    You got it Alex!
    To change the default location GD – Settings – Locations (tab) – Cities (subtab), and check the radio button for the default city. This will change the default Region and Country automatically too.
