Change CPT system name?

    Hi, my site is still in dev, and i have set up the CPTs (9 of them).

    I want to now change the system name (eg gd_place) because that appears in the search results page link and i would prefer not to have gd_ in the URL. I have created all the 9 CPTs with gd_ prefix. Is there a way to change these?

    I dont want to again set up all the CPTs which would be very tedious.

    Hi Vivek,

    Thanks for your post. Try exporting the listings into a CSV file and make the changes over there. Before importing, create the new CPT’s and reimport it afterward. Could you give it a try?

    It is not possible to remove the gd_ prefix for CPTs without a major customization.
