    Hi,
I wanted my blog as my front page so I created a new page for directory and listed the url for the GD Home page (Location) in the page I created.

The map has now disappeared. Does anyone have any advice?

    Many Thanks

You should not use normal WP pages to use at the GD permalink settings.
The only page to use for the homepage of GD is the location page generated by GD. I suggest to delete the new page you created, and run GD > GD Tools to fix your location page.
Then use that page again for the location in GD permalinks.

If still stuck after this, post your URL and admin details in a private reply, and we will have a quick look.

    Hi,

I just double checked and I have to correct my man Guust here.

I asked to Stiofan to create the new system in the permalinks settings page, specifically to allow users to set any page they want, to be any of the GD pages.

If you create a page manually titled “directory” and you set that as the location page, it should automatically change the permalink from location to directory and work.

The GD Tool will only create the default pages if none are selected in the permalinks spots.

So if the map has gone away, the reason must be something else.

If you provide a URL and wp admin credentials in a private reply we will have a look at your settings.

    Let us know,

    Thanks

Mmm, I had seen a few problems which I thought were caused by using a WP page, and restoring with GD tools had fixed it. I now tested [not that I do not believe Paolo but to test how wrong I was 🙂 ] and realize I was been wrong.

With the amount of things we added/changed recently it’s sometimes hard for me too to keep up.
    Sometimes even for Stiofan.

In addition I think this was done while you were travelling to Europe few months ago… 🙂
