Hi there.
What options are there to add a ‘claim listing’ button to the sidebar area (or any other areas? ) in Supreme theme v1.
I have looked under shortcodes and other general settings but cant see any options to add this?
Again i really appreciated your invaluable help and assistance as always 🙂
Kind regards,
Ian

July 4, 2019 at 9:53 am #496235Hi Alex.
Thanks for the reply.
Seems on Supreme theme (my one at least) this shows the buttons on the detail listing page below the main imaged (not the side bar) but this moves up onto the image in mobile view – so i had requested how to remove this when in a mobile view as it covered too much of the small main image.
(see https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/supreme-v1-remove-claim-edit-button-event-dates-from-main-image-area/#post-494888)Kor kindly created created some css code for me to do this and it worked great.
I then realised that there was no ‘claim listing’ in the side bar for anyone to claim a listing, hence my follow up question to Kor (on posting as previously mentioned) on how to add a claim listing on the side bar.
I had put this on as a secondary question to Kor (in the previous post) as they were connected and very specific to the code he had given me, as was worried it would lose context as a stand alone question and then be hard to understand, but you said to make a seperate post which i now have :)- but think it needs to be read with the previous support post to make any sense.
Regards,
Ian
July 4, 2019 at 10:02 am #496237Hi Ian,
Thanks for your reply. Have you tried inserting the “GD > Post Claim” widget to the sidebar and see if it’s what you’re looking for?
Or use this shortcode
[gd_claim_post text="Claim Listing" output="button"]July 4, 2019 at 11:16 am #496246Yeh, I was gonna mention that when I saw you wanted to hide it, but, yes you will need to remove that CSS.
July 5, 2019 at 1:30 am #496323Hi Kor.
Thanks for the response.
re- GD Post claim widget. I cant see that on my system – im on V1..is that a v2 widget by chance?
re- shortcode. Will this also work for v1 ? and if som, what the best way to implement this so its placed in the sidebar?
If neither work with v1….any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again.
Ian

July 8, 2019 at 11:07 pm #496728Hi Alex.
Just tried that using a custom html widget – no luck either with that as its just outputting the text … 🙁
